Here the page is set on a dark background, with the majority of pictures very dull (sepia effect) giving these pages a very dull, murky tone, maybe sugesting a sense of darkness about the bands style of music. There is alot of text on the page, but it is ballanced out by the amount of pictures and bright images on the other page. there is an atlas in the top centre of the page to symbolise that its a world tour.

The magazine is initialy set on a white background, but this is contrasted by the black shirts of the band in the centre (associating the black with a steriotypical rock band). This picture is also shows the magazine company's confidence in its popularity by covering up part of the title, showing that it is so well known that people know what magazine it is, just from part of the title. The text in the middle of the page is bright yellow, in contrast to the black, which draws you attention to it, highlighting the specific band named.

the first thing that i notice about this magazine is the title; it has a broken/ shattered look to it, making it seem radical and rebelious, also the magazine shows confidence in how it covers up some of its title by the guitarist on the front. To make certain areas stand out more it has bright yellow edges around important areas/ messages. this shade of yellow is the same shade that is used on warning signs, so your attention is automaticaly drawn to these notices. Alot of the pictures are off-set to give a more unpredictable look, along with the broken writing on "100 GREATEST GIGS EVER!" gives a good effect.
